u made a lil mashup. it's cute. it's unhinged. it deserves to be in every group chat u have. this guide shows u exactly how to paste it anywhere — plus how to turn ur favorites into stickers on ur phone keyboard so they're one tap away forever. ✿

what actually gets copied

when u tap “copy mashup” on the main page, we do two things behind the scenes:

  1. we fetch the mashup as a PNG image (a real transparent sticker, not a link)
  2. we put that PNG on ur system clipboard using the modern Clipboard API

that means u can paste it into anywhere that accepts images — iMessage, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Discord, Slack, Gmail, Google Docs, Notion, Figma, Photoshop, u name it. if the app supports pasting a pic, ur mashup works there. 🫶

🧁 backup plan: if ur browser blocks image-clipboard (rare), we fall back to copying the two emoji characters as text, and u'll see a toast saying “emojis copied ♡” instead of “mashup copied ♡”. either way, u get something.

🪟 paste on Windows (10 / 11)

easiest keyboard shortcut on earth — Ctrl + V.

  1. on Emoji Blend, tap copy mashup
  2. open the app u want to paste into (Teams, WhatsApp Desktop, Discord, Slack, Gmail, Word, Paint, Photoshop…)
  3. click in the text box or canvas
  4. press Ctrl + V (or right-click → Paste)

for Instagram DMs or Twitter in ur browser on PC, same move — click in the message box first, then Ctrl + V. the image uploads as an attachment. ✨

wanna keep a stash? paste it into Paint or Photos and hit Save — now u have a sticker file u can drag into anything later.

🍎 paste on Mac

same vibe, one key off — Cmd + V.

  1. tap copy mashup on Emoji Blend
  2. open iMessage, Notes, Keynote, Slack, Discord, or any app
  3. click the text box & press Cmd + V

pro move: paste into Preview.app → File → Save. now u have a cute little PNG sitting on ur Desktop, ready to airdrop to ur phone.

🧋 paste on iPhone & iPad

there are two ways on iPhone — pick whichever's easier for u.

option A — direct paste (iOS 16+)

  1. on ur iPhone browser (Safari/Chrome), open Emoji Blend
  2. make ur mashup, tap copy mashup
  3. swipe up, open Messages / WhatsApp / Notes
  4. tap the text field → tap Paste (or the bar that appears with “Paste”)
  5. send ♡

option B — save, then send (works 100% of the time)

  1. on the result plate, long-press the mashup image
  2. tap Save to Photos (or “Add to Photos”)
  3. go to any chat → tap the photo icon → pick ur mashup → send

🧸 heads-up: on iMessage, pasted stickers sometimes show as tiny inline images. if u want the huge sticker style, use the Photos app route & send as a photo attachment.

🤖 paste on Android

on Android (Samsung, Pixel, OnePlus, anything modern) both paste & save work smoothly.

  1. open Emoji Blend in Chrome
  2. tap copy mashup
  3. open WhatsApp / Messages / Instagram / Discord
  4. tap in the text field → long-press → Paste

prefer to save first? long-press the mashup on the result plate → Download image (or “Save image”). it lands in ur Gallery / Photos and u can send it from any app.

⌨️ add ur mashup to ur iPhone keyboard as a sticker

this is the magic: turn ur faves into stickers u can tap from the keyboard itself, so they're ready in every app, every chat. iOS 16+ makes it a breeze.

  1. save the mashup to Photos (long-press the plate → Save to Photos)
  2. open the Photos app and tap ur mashup
  3. long-press the subject of the image — iOS will “lift” it from the background (works best on the mashups because they have transparent PNG backgrounds already ♡)
  4. tap Add Sticker from the menu
  5. optional: tap Add Effect → give it Shiny / Puffy / Comic / Outline vibes
  6. now open any keyboard → tap the emoji/sticker icon → scroll to Stickers → there it is!

repeat for each of ur fridge-saved mashups. boom — custom sticker pack, zero apps downloaded.

🪄 add ur mashup to Gboard as a sticker pack

Gboard (Google's keyboard, default on most Androids) lets u save & reuse custom stickers.

quick method — recent images

  1. save ur mashup to the gallery (long-press → Download image)
  2. in any chat, tap the Gboard sticker/emoji button
  3. tap the clipboard or gallery icon
  4. ur mashup shows up in recent — tap to send

permanent sticker pack method

Gboard has a “personal stickers” / “make-a-sticker” feature on newer versions — but the most reliable cross-device way is to use a free sticker app like Sticker Maker (available on Play Store, no signup).

  1. save all ur faves from Emoji Blend to Photos
  2. install Sticker Maker (or Sticker.ly / Personal Stickers for WhatsApp)
  3. create a new pack → add ur saved mashups
  4. tap Add to WhatsApp or Export to Telegram — now ur mashups live in ur keyboard-style sticker panel forever ♡

💬 use it as a custom emoji in Discord / Slack

Discord

  1. save ur mashup as a PNG (right-click → Save image on desktop)
  2. go to Server Settings → Emoji → Upload Emoji
  3. pick the PNG (must be under 256KB — our mashups are way smaller)
  4. give it a cute name like :pookie: or :vibecheck:
  5. type the name in chat to use it anywhere in the server 🎀

Slack

  1. save ur mashup PNG
  2. click workspace name → Tools & settings → Customize workspace → Add Custom Emoji
  3. upload, pick a name like :chefkiss:, save
  4. now it's a native emoji in every channel ♡

✨ tip: 128×128 is perfect for both Discord and Slack. our mashups are already sized nicely, no resizing needed.

oops, paste didn't work 🫠

“the toast said ‘emojis copied’ not ‘mashup copied’”

that means ur browser blocked the image-clipboard API (some older Firefox / Safari versions). easy fix:

  • on desktop → use Chrome or Edge (full support)
  • on phone → long-press the result plate & Save to Photos instead, then send as image

“it pasted as an empty box / broken icon”

the app u're pasting into probably only accepts text. try the save-then-attach route: long-press the mashup → save → attach in the app.

“nothing happens when i tap copy”

make sure u picked two emojis first. the copy button is disabled until the mashup is on the plate — look for 💾 and 📋 to light up.

“the website says ‘try another combo ♡’”

that pair doesn't have a ready-made mix yet. in that case we bake u a custom canvas mashup — still a real PNG, still copy-paste-able, just hand-assembled by the site on the spot. it works exactly the same everywhere above. 🥄

🌟 pro vibes (extra tips)

  • build a sticker stash — save ur top 10 to the fridge on Emoji Blend, then batch-export them to Photos in one sitting
  • name ur pack — if u're making a WhatsApp / Telegram pack, a theme helps. “soft cottagecore critters”, “delulu season”, etc.
  • go large — pasting into Keynote / Google Slides treats the mashup like a vector-ish sticker u can scale without blur
  • notion & figma work perfectly — just Ctrl/Cmd+V onto a page or canvas
  • email signatures — paste a tiny one into Gmail signature for a lil cozy vibe
  • mark ur calendar — yes u can paste into Google Calendar event descriptions
